Another story hit Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton with a bizarre claim. The “Hollaback Girl” singer was, reportedly, threatening the country music star of leaving him if he will not hit the gym soon.
Fans of Stefani and Shelton should not be worried, though. Gossip Cop reached out to a representative of the former No Doubt vocalist who ultimately denied the report. The spokesperson said the report was “untrue.”
Stefani and Shelton have been, evidently, head over heels on each other since they confirmed their relationship in 2015. The gossip industry, unfortunately, has also made them subjects of various rumors. More recently, it was claimed that Stefani was getting worried about Shelton’s health and fitness lifestyle.
The report from National Enquirer cited a source who claimed that Blake Shelton’s fitness lifestyle is a ticking bomb issue in the relationship. Gwen Stefani, purportedly, gave her partner a deadline to get things in order. “Gwen is furious that Blake doesn’t take better care of himself, creating the possibility he may not live long enough to see their child grow up,” the same insider added.
However, considering the statement provided by Stefani’s official spokesperson, fans can now pile this story in the list of debunked rumors about her and Shelton. And even before Gossip Cop fact-checked the report, Stefani has said something related to this topic proving that in her eyes the “The Voice” coach will always be the sexiest man.
Shelton was named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2017 until he was replaced by Idris Elba the following year. During Shelton’s appearance at Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show, he joked that Stefani might not have felt “the power” that the title brings. He further poked fun at himself, and on the topic of being sexy by commenting, he cannot believe Stefani agreed to be in a relationship with him.
When it was Gwen Stefani’s turn to visit the show in the following month, she had nothing but love for her beau. Aside from dodging DeGeneres’ teasing about their supposed engagement, Stefani reassured everyone that she thinks Blake Shelton even “got sexier” despite losing the title to Elba.
