Netflix dropped “Fuller House” season 4 on Dec. 14 and it garnered positive feedback from the viewers. The cast has been grateful and they expressed their gratitude via social media. Now, as the series is all done, fans are looking forward to the next installment but the question is, will there be season 5?
According to Netflix Life, “Fuller House” season 5 is not yet in the works as Netflix has not renewed the show yet. However, it should be noted that “Fuller House” season4 did so well that a renewal is highly likely to be announced soon.
Plus, as the fourth installment concluded with still a lot of stories left to tell, the show really needs to return for its continuation. Once Netflix ordered new episodes for "Fuller House” season 5, it is predicted to arrive on December 2019 just like season 4.
For fans who have not seen “Fuller House” season 4 yet, here is a bit of recap: The new chapter began with Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) being pregnant after she agreed to be Stephanie Tanner’s (Jodie Sweetin) surrogate. The Tanner family got busy taking care of her as they anticipate the arrival of the baby whose surrogate mom is being difficult to handle.
Aside from Kimmy and Stephanie’s baby, the much-awaited reunion of DJ Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) and Steve Hale (Scott Weinger) finally happened. The former broke her engagement to Matt Harmon (John Brotherton) after realizing that her heart still yearns for her first love and high school boyfriend. The whole Tanner family supports their relationship and wished them a road to forever this time around.
For the younger generation of the Fullers, “Fuller House” season 4 also featured highlights of Jackson Fuller’s (Michael Campion) teenage life. In the show, DJ’s oldest son has a girlfriend Rocki (Landry Bender) now and there was even a scene where he was shown kissing his ladylove in school!
Meanwhile, as the fourth installment ends, fans can look forward to “Fuller House” season 5 for it will surely return to another amazing and funny stories.
