Evan Rachel Wood of "Westworld" fame and Sterling K. Brown, who plays Randall Pearson in “This is Us,” have been in recent talks to join the voice cast for “Frozen 2,” the sequel to Disney's Oscar-winning children's movie, “Frozen.”
While people behind “Frozen 2” have been in talks on its production since early as 2015, it wasn't until this year that the sequel got a confirmed release date when the official Disney Twitter pages tweeted the announcement.

While a year late from the intended 2018 target, “Frozen 2” looks towards delighting its fans as most of the cast and crew behind the original film will be returning for the sequel.
“Frozen's” original directors, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, will be taking the helm for “Frozen 2.” Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Josh Gad will return to reprise their roles as Elsa, Anna, and Olaf. Jonathan Groff will also return to voice the iceman sidekick, Kristoff. Wood and Brown's roles have yet to be revealed but considering that most of the original cast members will play significant parts for the sequel, there is a possibility that the two additions to the cast will be playing the upcoming movie's villains.
While fans of the two stars wait for more concrete news about Wood and Brown's role in “Frozen 2,” they can explore the stars' projects in 2018. Both Wood and Brown seem to have exciting sci-fi projects for any fan interested in the new cast members' careers. Evan Rachel Wood, who played Dolores Abernathy in season 1 of “Westworld,” is also part of the show's second season, which premiered on HBO last April 22. Sterling K. Brown will be playing Will Traeger in the upcoming sci-fi reboot, “The Predator,” which is set to be released on Sept. 14.
Should production for the film go smoothly, “Frozen 2” will grace theaters to the delight of fans and their children on Nov. 27. 2019.
