“Food Wars” season 4 will premiere in a few weeks, and the latest trailer was released with a sneak peek to the scene coming up in the new episodes. One interesting scene is included where fans can see one of the possible scenes included in the first episode.
‘Food Wars’ season 4 spoilers: Kuga challenges Tsukasa
“Food Wars” season 4 episode 1 will most likely dive right into the continuation of the ongoing Rebels vs. Central Régiment de Cuisine. The Rebels team is composed of Soma, Erina, Megumi, Takumi, Isshiki, Mimasaka, Kuga, and Megishima. While the Central is practically the remaining members of the Elite Ten Council.
The start of “Food Wars” season 4 will probably revolve around the beginning of the 2nd Bout with three new cooking duels. The teaser begins with Soma seemingly hiding against a wall and listening before it shows Tsukasa it continues in the eight-second mark showing Kuga talking to someone.
These scenes greatly resemble the panels from the manga chapter titled “2nd Bout” where Kuga challenges Tsukasa to fight him in the next duel while Soma is listening behind a wall. It is then highly possible that these parts of the trailer are some of the first previews of the first episode of “Food Wars” season 4.
Kuga will get the duel he wants with Tsukasa right at the first duel of the 2nd Bout. They will fight with the culinary theme green tea, however, it will not end in favor of the Chinese cuisine expert. In fact, the luck of the Rebels is turned in the entire 2nd Bout that will be shown in the first episodes of “Food Wars” season 4.
‘Food Wars’ season 4 release date, episode count: Is this the end of the series?
The same title manga already concluded with a total of 315 chapters plus a three-part “Le Dessert” closing arc including an epilogue. Counting all the remaining chapters from the source material, it is very possible for “Food Wars” season 4 to maintain the same episode count of 24 as there was in season 3.
If the producers decided not to prolong the anime series run any further, “Food Wars” season 4 could be the last installment. However, it is also possible to be divided into two cours with few months of hiatus in the middle. But it should be noted that producers have yet to announce Fourth Plate’s official episode count officially. “Food Wars” season 4 will premiere on Oct. 11.
