It would seem that with every arc of “Fairy Tail,” someone or other is forced to confront an evil past that has come back to haunt them. In the case of Natsu, however, it would appear that his circumstances will be worse than most. In “Fairy Tail 2018” Episode 18, he will be faced with the truth about his past and his future when he learns that he is Zeref’s greatest weapon of evil.
As TheAnimeScrolls reports, Natsu’s fight with Zeref in “Fairy Tail 2018” Episode 18 will not result in the dragon slayer’s favor. In fact, he will be told that he was actually created by the evil wizard to become his ultimate trump card. Not for nothing is the fire mage as powerful as he is since he won’t immediately believe Zeref, but he will need to beat a hasty retreat.
In the meantime, war is still raging and the rest of Fairy Tail will need to cope with their own enemies in “Fairy Tail 2018” Episode 18. Lucy, for example, will be in danger because of Brandish. Fortunately for her, Aquarius will be in the mood to help and save her contractor.
So, what exactly will the revelation in “Fairy Tail 2018” Episode 18 mean for everyone? To start with, it means that Natsu has always been fated to be the guild’s greatest enemy instead of its champion. It means that he was created to fight against his friends instead of helping them. If Zeref’s plans come to fruition, those who Natsu fought to protect will die by his hands.
Of course, this is only if Natus is not strong enough to move on despite what he learns in “Fairy Tail 2018” Episode 18. Fans will learn about this soon enough when the episode airs on Feb. 10.
