With the amount of distractions increasing on the road, comes the increased possibility of human error car accidents. EchoMaster, designer and manufacturer of collision avoidance solutions for aftermarket and OEM, seeks to lessen these accidents with technology. According to a study by the National Highway of Traffic Safety Administration trucks, due to their larger side blind spot area, are more likely to be involved in a sideswipe crash, especially with smaller vehicles that can often be swallowed completely in the truck’s blind spot. Multi-camera systems are effective at eliminating blind spots for multiple scenarios, including lane changing and reversing.

Driven by the knowledge that video systems can lesson the risk of collision, and the passion to do something about it, EchoMaster has designed a line of integrated safety kits for large vehicles. Vehicle-specific side mirror caps with integrated cameras add visibility, without adding bulk to the truck, van or SUV’s exterior. Reverse and forward facing cameras enhance rear and front vision, trailer cameras are installed to assist with towing, and third brake light cameras offer visibility into the bed of a driver’s truck. The EchoMaster systems are customizable and fully integrate into the vehicle’s current electronic system, so driver’s gain safety features without complication. Attuned to driver behavior, the system’s side cameras are activated when turn signals are used, speed sensing front cameras when the vehicle is going under a certain speed, reverse cameras when the vehicle is placed in reverse.
The General Motors systems come with an added benefit of a user interface that can be accessed on their radio screen, allowing the driver to manually switch between cameras when needed, as well as viewing multiple cameras simultaneously.
Kits with perfect fit mirror caps are available today for General Motors full size SUV, medium duty, light duty and heavy duty trucks from 2014-2017, and 2014-2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Vans. With more vehicle applications to be added in the future. EchoMaster also offers a line of universal side cameras, which can enhance the safety of any vehicle on the road.
For commuters, toy haulers or fleet drivers, EchoMaster integrated safety solutions make any driving situation easier and safer. With multiple mounting options available, drivers can work with an authorized EchoMaster dealer to design the multi-camera solution that meets their needs.
