“Dynasty” Season 3 has been confirmed to return following the tumultuous second installment’s finale that unearthed a dark family secret. The revelation was kickstarted by a joyous occasion after Fallon (Elizabeth Gilles) proposed to Liam (Adam Huber) during an intimate boat ride, Business Times reported.
But due to a fumble that caused the family heirloom to tumble in the water, Adam decided to hire a team of divers to retrieve the jewelry. But instead of a ring, the crew found two corpses, with one of the bodies identified as Trixie, Fallon’s friend who accidentally died at the manor all those years ago. “Dynasty” Season 3 will be exploring this huge development, as well the second corpse that has been found.
There’s also the fact that Liam’s fate remains in the air after Adam (Sam Underwood) hit him on the head with a flower pot and he felled down the pool. It would be interesting to see what sort of consequences this action will bring in “Dynasty” Season 3.
Meanwhile, showrunner Sallie Patrick has announced that she will not be returning in the third installment. She posted the announcement on Instagram a week ago and said that it was difficult for her to part ways with the series, although she assured fans that “Dynasty” Season 3 would deliver another gripping narrative.
“While I’m excited to move on to my next challenge, it’s of course hard to part with a world I put so much love into, from first pitch to this 44th [episode], but I’m so pleased with the team carrying it forward. I can already tell you, [Dynasty] Season 3 is gonna be great!” Patrick wrote.
As for its release date, nothing has been confirmed just yet. However, it’s easy to predict when “Dynasty” Season 3 will be returning given that the first and second entry dropped on October. With the series occupying the 9 p.m. Friday night slot, an Oct. 10 premiere is the most likely scenario, Express reported.
