CD Projekt Red has yet to announce the release date for “Cyberpunk 2077.” While the developers admitted that the game is ready to be played from beginning to end, most of the work being done at the moment is polishing details and fixing bugs.
As such, “Cyberpunk 2077” could see a late 2019 or early 2020 release date, with the latter the most likely candidate. This title is one of the most anticipated games by the community due to the studio’s reputation. And with how everything is shaping up, their pristine standing is expected to increase further, PCGamer reported.
There are a lot of elements that Projekt Red has injected into “Cyberpunk 2077.” One of the most intriguing factors is how the developers put emphasis on the consequences stemming from a player’s decision.
“We want the characters you meet in the game to respond to you and your actions. That’s not just about having enough points in a certain stat or something like that. Instead, it’s like ‘Did you talk to that guy earlier? What information did you get?’ If you found the information, you can use it later. If you killed the guy’s friend instead of doing something for him, he won’t help you anymore. We love that kind of reactivity,” said Patrick Mills, quest designer. This element has already been highlighted by the gameplay demo of “Cyberpunk 2077.”
Apart from this, the studio has also incorporated a robust facial animation for its characters to provide a deeper nuance that players should watch out for. And with “Cyberpunk 2077” allowing gamers to outfit their characters with eyes that can zoom in and out freely, this aspect will play a vital role in effectively immersing a player into the world.
Keep in mind that everything that’s been described in this piece only talks about one single element. Map, battle mechanics, quests, plot, and so much more will be revealed by the developers as “Cyberpunk 2077” inches closer to its release date. Hopefully, the game will be completed by the end of the year although it would be best if the developers take their time to polish every detail to perfection.
