Signaling the return of the hit criminal psychology series, “Criminal Minds” Season 14 has been confirmed to premiere on Oct. 3. on CBS. Fans can rejoice in the knowledge that they will soon be joining their favorite characters as they hunt for depraved individuals once more. The fact that doing so often comes at a cost should make the series premiere an event to look forward to.
With “Criminal Minds” Season 14 already announced for return, fans will naturally be curious as to what they can expect. For starters, it would appear that the season premiere is going to be quite the special one, Pop Culture recently reported. It will be the show’s 300th episode, which gives it an appropriate level of awe.
Regardless of how one might feel about the show, reaching 300 episodes is no mean feat. This makes the premiere of “Criminal Minds” Season 14 quite the event to watch out for. The premiere episode for the season will apparently be written by Erica Messer and then Glenn Kershaw will be directing it. In typical TV land fashion, it will also be titled “300,” which is about as predictable as these things can get.
In any case, the synopsis for the premiere of “Criminal Minds” Season 14 has been released as well. As usual, it involves murders and a race against time.
"When Reid and Garcia are abducted by Benjamin Merva (Michael Hogan), it's up to the rest of the team to find them," the synopsis reads. "The BAU finds surprising clues in their own history to solve why the two heroes have been targeted by a mass murderer. It's a race to save them before a ‘Believers’ prophecy is fulfilled."
It was already expected, but the major cast members for the show will be returning for the upcoming season as well, Otaku Art reports. So fans can watch their favorite characters for more episodes in “Criminal Minds” Season 14.
