With “Castlevania” being a hugely popular animated series on Netflix largely due to the incredible writing, smooth animation, and interesting characters, fans are naturally clamoring for more. However, it would appear that they will have to wait for a long time despite the rumors that it could come out in 2019. In fact, viewers might want to adjust that expectation for when “Castlevania” Season 3 will air to 2021.
Although publications like OtakuKart are predicting that “Castlevania” Season 3 will be coming out this year, this is simply not possible. For one thing, there has been absolutely no news on the matter since the second season came out. While the third run has been confirmed last year, this was about the last morsel of news regarding the series to officially come out.
The rest of the details found on the web are basically nothing but rumors, speculations, and wishful thinking. Not that there is absolutely nothing about “Castlevania” Season 3 that is that hard to predict. For one thing, the plot of the upcoming season will likely have to do with a civil war in the vampire world. As to the reason for that, it simply due to the disappearance of Dracula.
It is currently predicted that Carmilla will play a major role in “Castlevania” Season 3, but she is unlikely to be the main villain. That would be far too boring and predictable. In fact, there is the question of whether or not there will be a main villain, at all. This could actually be a “Game of Thrones” arrangement where several factions will be vying for power and the heroes are caught in the middle.
Speaking of heroes, Trevor, Alucard, and Sypha are expected to team up once again despite parting ways at the end of season 2. The trio will then likely have to find a way to protect humanity from the rampaging hordes of the vampire armies in “Castlevania” Season 3.
