Cargill has opened a $21 million, 6,200-square-meter House of Chocolate at its existing chocolate production facility in Mouscron, Belgium.
A chocolate experience center, a pilot plant with sensory expertise, and a creative workplace for the company's European research and development team are all included on the site.
Customers can research industry trends in health, sustainability, and sensory experiences, as well as develop new product concepts, according to Cargill.
Cargill Chocolate Europe general director Inge Demeyere says the business sought to establish a venue where customers could "experience the full world of chocolate under one roof, tasting, feeling, smelling, and seeing chocolate in all its forms."
Customers at the House of Chocolate can work with their specialists and take advantage of their resources to produce goods that are influenced by the newest trends. It's a space dedicated to bringing ideas to life and moving them forward swiftly.
