Caitlyn Jenner responds to how her former wife Kris Jenner reacted about her latest book, “The Secrets of My Life,” on the latest episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
In that particular episode, Chicago Tribune noted how Kris was initially firm about keeping a friendship with her former husband, who is now openly transgender, despite the fact that the momager admitted to having difficulty adjusting to Caitlyn’s transition. A later scene showed Kris and Caitlyn bonding over wine and facials, which proceeded to the new author giving a copy of her new book to Kris.
Cut to another scene, Kris was furious about how she was portrayed in the memoir, and blasted Caitlyn about the latter’s allegations that she had known about the gender issues all along.
"I really tried hard to improve the relationship. ... I've done nothing but open up my home and my heart to a person who doesn't give a s--. So I'm done. Everything she said was all made up. I was curious and said, “What the hell is going on?” She said, “You just would never understand,” and then all through the book, “Kris knew. Kris knew before I even made love to her.” I’m like, what?”" she said.
On “Good Morning America” the 67 year-old Olympian said, “I’m just kind of sorry she went down that road. But she’s a good person and we’ve had 23 good years together and raised wonderful, phenomenal kids.”
She also said her thoughts on a Facebook Live interview, “I say so many nice things about Kris in that book, I do. … She’s saying it on a reality show that has a lot of drama in it, (but) I guess it’s real in her heart. It’s not just that. It’s disappointing — I wish she hadn’t have gone there. It just didn’t need to be on television if there’s any problems.”
