Brad Pitt could be having a blast this Christmas as it was reported that his three kids - Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox are spending the holidays with him. He will have this benefit in the midst of his ongoing divorce and custody case with Angelina Jolie.
The Christmas reunion of father and kids
Then again, it was said that although Brad Pitt can be with his younger children, his reunion with them will still be limited. This means that their holiday together will be short and has specific dates, as per Us Weekly.
“They can spend the night with him on Christmas Eve,” the paper quoted an insider as saying. “Brad and Angelina previously discussed spending the holidays as a family when they were ‘getting along’ earlier this year, but plans have since changed.”
The tipster explained that Brad Pitt and his ex-wife are to be blamed for their divorce drama that never seems to end. But unfortunately, it’s their children who are always badly affected by their battle.
It was further suggested by the so-called source that the COVID-19 pandemic was somehow beneficial for Brad Pitt. This is because the travel restrictions made Angelina Jolie’s plans to travel for her humanitarian works difficult, so she and her kids are unable to go overseas. This is good for the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” actor since he can be with his kids this holiday.
Brad and Angelina’s legal battle
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not yet fully divorced, even if they were already declared as officially single in April 2019. This is due to the fact that they still could not agree on many items in their divorce agreement.
Plus, their child custody case is also adding pressure on the divorce battle since the cases are somehow connected. Their legal battle is dragging due to many conflicts and dramas like Jolie’s request to remove judge John W. Ouderkirk from their case, alleging that he is close to Brad’s lawyers.
“The longer she does this, the more damage she does to the kids, and this is the game she’s playing,” Page Six quoted a source as saying.
