George Clooney and Brad Pitt are said to be joining the cast lineup of the “Friends” reunion that has yet to be released. The most anticipated show has been moved to 2021 premiere due to various reasons that led to its long delay.
George Clooney and Brad Pitt appeared on the show when it was still on air on NBC in the 1990s. And now, it was reported that in the reunion, the two will also be present when it airs on HBO Max next year.
‘Friends’ Reunion surprise?
In an article published on New Idea, it was claimed that the script for “Friends” Reunion was leaked. This was how some people learned about Brad Pitt and George Clooney’s surprise appearance when the show returns after more than two decades.
The insider who allegedly has knowledge about the leaked script revealed that the cast were made to sign a confidentiality contract. If they leak or divulge any details, they will be sued for millions,” the source said. “Executives at HBO Max including Roberto Alcantara and Mark Tuohy have made everyone sign a water-tight confidentiality agreement which could see them be sued in excess of $5 million if the leak any details.”
Moreover, it seems that the fans will get a bit of surprise when the “Friends” Reunion airs. Aside from the original stars that include Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow, other Hollywood A-listers are also set to be in the show. What’s more, the additional cast will reprise their roles when they first appeared as guests.
The truth
Some of the names mentioned include George Clooney and Brad Pitt. Julia Roberts, Ben Stiller, and Bruce Willis may also return as per the tipster.
Gossip Cop immediately dismissed this report because not only the source who supposedly provided the information sounds suspicious, but there is really no proof about the claims. Also, if George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and the others are appearing on the reunion show of “Friends,” this would have been reported a long time ago already. However, there was nothing, and even the cast didn’t mention any of this claim. Clearly, the report is a phoney one.
