A new rumor is circulating that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are to meet each other soon. The supposed place is said to be somewhere in London, where the two are set to share an evening meal.
These rumors are spreading because Aniston recently broke up with Justin Theroux, ending their seven-year relationship. And with the “Friends” alum now single again, tabloids are speculating on who Aniston’s next love interest will be.
The rumor came from a new issue of Grazia (via Gossip Cop), which claimed that Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt has revived their past friendship. Moreover, the women’s magazine alleged that while Pitt and Aniston have been keeping in touch following the years of their breakup, their communication has been consistent as of late.
However, judging by past stories of other publications, this supposed Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reunion is highly unlikely to happen. In February 2018, People published a story in which a source is quoted as saying that this indeed the case.
“They haven’t seen each other in ages,” says the insider. “For well over a decade now they have lived totally separate lives and so not surprisingly, they have become totally different people than who they once were when they were together.”
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston broke up in 2005 after being married for five years. And even though they maintained some contact with each other over the years that followed, these are nothing more than the occasional polite messages wishing each other good luck if one of them is launching a new project.
As for the chosen location of the rumor, Jennifer Aniston is indeed going to Europe to film her upcoming Netflix mystery/comedy movie “Murder Mystery.” However, Netflix has yet to announce if the production will include London as one of the shooting locations.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt will not be anywhere near the continent anytime soon as the “World War Z” actor is scheduled to spend his next few weeks in California. Pitt’s summer custody agreement with ex-wife Angeline Jolie requires him to have their kids over starting from July 21 to July 29, which puts a dagger to the heart of this unfounded rumor.
The fact of the matter is that while Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt had their time together, the two are now completely different people. Similar to most things, time has simply dwindled the past couple’s passion for each other, with nothing left between the two but warm embers of mutual respect.
