As Brad Pitt works on finalizing his divorce from Angelina Jolie, reports have it he has reunited with another ex-wife — Jennifer Aniston. Rumors even claim the actor bought the “Friends” alum a house as a “gift.” Will he talk about it in an interview where he would allegedly discuss his past marriages?
First, is Pitt really going on TV to talk about Aniston and Jolie in detail? The report first come from In Touch (via Gossip Cop) after a source said, “He wants to tell his side of the story, tell what really went wrong, talk about the horrible fights, his addiction, his blowup on their private jet, how the kids were pitted against him – all the ugly details of their divorce and custody battle.”
The same insider builds up their case by further claiming that Pitt will not hold back in detailing his failed marriage with Jolie. “Being in such a volatile marriage with Angie made him realize what he’d thrown away for Jen,” In Touch’s information added. However, Gossip Cop fact-checked the report through Pitt’s official representative on Wednesday, and the rumored interview was ultimately debunked. The actor’s spokesperson also added that starting a relationship again with Aniston is not on his to-do list.
It was reported that Pitt and Aniston’s reunion happened when the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” actor attended the “Dumplin’” star’s 50th birthday celebration in February. There were several sources who confirmed Pitt’s attendance and rumors of them dating again, unsurprisingly, started to spread immediately after that.
Aside from dating rumors, Mirror also reported that Pitt gifted Aniston with a $79 million real estate property that used to be their “dream home.” But even this claim has already been shut down after The Sun checked in with Pitt’s camp.
The names of Pitt, Aniston, and Jolie might be forever intertwined in the gossip media industry. Pitt and Aniston got married in the summer of 2000 but announced they were calling it quits in 2005. Many fans believed that the actor got extremely close with Jolie while filming “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” as rumors about the two started to fly in 2004.
