“Boruto” chapter 45 will be picking up from a plot twist that possibly no one fan anticipated. Amado enters the territory of the Hidden Leaf Village and caused quite a scene. However, it was a huge revelation when he declared his intention to defect to Konohagakure.

There is plenty of uncertainties when it comes to Amado’s intentions, mostly because there are many things unknown about him and his past. It then begs the question, is he sincere about defecting to Konohagakure or if this is part of Kara’s plans to retrieve Kawaki? While there is no way of knowing the answer, for now, fans can weigh out the possibilities as they wait for “Boruto” chapter 45.
Based on Amado’s last interaction with Kashin Koji, it seems possible that the decision to switch allegiance to Konohagakure was completely his own. He showed no problems with Kashin’s plan to kill Jigen. He even stopped Delta from protecting Jigen in chapter 44. On the other hand, Amado reminded Jigen during their last conversation about a promise the Kara leader made in the past. So it is understandable for fans to doubt Amado’s intentions as much as the protagonists will most likely do in “Boruto” chapter 45.
Trusting Amado will be difficult and entails too many precautions, so it would not be surprising if the leaders of Konohagakure will be doubtful in “Boruto” chapter 45. But it would also make sense for them to accept him in the village just because of the depth of his knowledge about Kara and scientific ninja tools.

Amado’s declaration is a significant development in the manga’s plot. It could also mean that Jigen and Kashin’s fight might not fully take place in “Boruto” chapter 45 yet. Fans likely will not mind now that Konohagakure has something very important to decide. They have very little knowledge about Boruto’s karma seal, while here is Amado, who may have enough knowledge to lend Naruto and the others.
The good news is there will be no hiatus before “Boruto” chapter 45 is released. The next installment will be released on Monday, April 20, through Manga Plus and Shonen Jump websites and mobile apps.
