Instead of proceeding with the main story, it would seem that “Boruto” Episode 107 is proving fans’ fears over what the current arc is going to be. It’s basically a giant waste of time, with Mirai’s group reaching their destination only to find a literal cat and dog situation. While many might appreciate the appearance of Inuzuka Kiba, not everyone will likely be as enthusiastic over the situation.
“Boruto” Episode 107 will basically involve a hot springs festival called the “Dog Cat Festival” or the “Cat Dog Festival,” OtakuKart reports. The difference would be minute since it simply depends on whether the personal celebrating loves dogs or they love cat. In any case, among the attendees are Kiba and Tamaki. The former loves dogs, as fans of “Naruto” will likely know, while the latter loves cats.
It would appear that the two will be experiencing some sort of disagreement, which will be the main focus of “Boruto” Episode 107. This is odd since, as an anime with the title “Boruto,” the subject of this story sure isn’t about him or what he is doing. It would have been a different matter if the story was any good, but if the previous episode is any indication, this is going to be one boring arc.
This is not something that fans who are still holding on to what the anime could be if it gets back to the main story are hoping for. In fact, “Boruto” Episode 107 and the rest of this arc can be considered something of a travesty and nothing more than a way to cash in on the property’s name.
With this being the case, those who will be watching “Boruto” Episode 107 should know that they are not likely to be in for a good ride. It might be better to just sit this one out when it airs on May 19.
