The previous episode of the anime has made it undoubtedly clear that Onoki is no longer in control of his puppets. While he was supposed to have been their creator, they now have a will of their own and they have no intentions of allowing real humans to dictate their actions any longer. “Boruto” Episode 88 will be showcasing just how far their depravity will take them as Boruto and Sarada might be forced to fight each other.
In the clip featured below, it’s clear that after Kokoyou got done in by his own overenthusiasm in the previous episode, Boruto and Co. have been captured and being taken to Ku. From there, it isn’t completely known what would happen, but a few conjectures might come close to predicting what will happen next. For starters, it’s clear that the battle maniac of a puppet will be revived in “Boruto” Episode 88.
With the title of “Boruto” Episode 88 being “Clash: Kokoyou,” it’s clear that the puppet will be brought back to life in the upcoming episode. This will then lead to some unfortunate circumstances for Boruto and his friends since Team 10 might need to fight with him once again. This might be right after Sarada and Boruto are hypnotized in order to prove a point, though.
One of the puppets under Ku has some potent genjutsu capabilities and she might use it on the two young ninjas in “Boruto” Episode 88. This could be to prove that humans are inferior to the puppets because of how they don’t have a heart.
Fans will see how things really go when “Boruto” Episode 88 airs. Viewers will need to wait until Jan. 6 for that, which might prove too long for those who believe that this arc has been going on for too long.
