'Boruto' Chapter 31 Release Date, Spoilers: Koji Helps Delta Escape to Betray Jigen? Kara Civil War?

Boruto.ISV Productions/YouTube

With “Boruto” being so slow to release chapters, fans are given plenty of time to pore over every little detail in the panels that are out, so far. As a result, some clues with regards to Kashin Koji’s plans might have been revealed. It would seem that he plans on betraying Jigen based on comments he has made internally. Will this lead him to help Delta escape in “Boruto” Chapter 31 so that he can achieve his goals?

As TheAnimeScrolls points out, it was revealed in the last chapter that Koji is harboring thoughts that seem to indicate his intent to betray Jigen. He basically had an internal monologue where he thought that the Kara leader would be a troublesome foe if he could also regenerate due to his karma. This could either be a simple assessment from an experienced fighter or a clue as to what he is planning. This could then affect is his actions in “Boruto” Chapter 31.

The fact of the matter is that Naruto is much stronger than Delta the way he is now. During the previous war, the current Hokage basically reached the status of godhood. As such, even with secret techniques and new ninja technology, the female Kara member likely will not stand a chance against him. Her only option would then be to escape in “Boruto” Chapter 31 and she might do so with Koji’s help.

Of course, none of this has been confirmed and is only mere speculation. If Koji does intend to betray Jigen, he will need to stay close to him and letting Delta get captured would be unfavorable for him. What’s more, giving his group member some help to escape in “Boruto” Chapter 31 would also allow Koji to earn her trust, which could help him get nearer to achieving his eventual goal.

In any case, fans will have to wait until Jan. 28 to find out what happens next in “Boruto” Chapter 31. Wouldn’t it be interesting if the plot really turned out the way many are predicting?
