In the previous chapter, readers learned a lot about the enigmatic Kawaki as he talked about his time as one of Jigen’s test subjects. Will Kawaki reveal more about his past in “Boruto” Chapter 28 and shed some light on Jigen’s motives?
Not much is known about in “Boruto” Chapter 28, but many have speculated that Naruto may ask Kawaki to do some jobs as a ninja to earn the money for a new vase, and it will be interesting to see if he will end up working together with Boruto.
In “Boruto” Chapter 27, Kawaki asked about the Karma in Boruto’s right hand and Boruto explained that it was branded by Momoshiki Otsutsuki. In turn, Kawaki told Boruto about how Jigen experimented on him and gave him the Karma on his left hand. They have that one thing in common, but they always have a complicated relationship.
In fact, the relationship between the two is kind of a rehash of Naruto and Sasuke’s relationship in the original series. They see each other as rivals, so it will be interesting to see them work together.
Well, Boruto had already turned down Kawaki’s request for them to work together in order to learn more Karma and how to get rid of it. Who knows, Boruto may change his mind once the vase is replaced.
As seen in the previous chapter, Kawaki made a vow to replace Himawari’s vase, but Naruto was surprised to hear this because Kawaki does not have any money. After realizing that Kawaki is thinking about stealing one, Naruto managed to come up with a plan for Kawaki to earn some cash. And he will likely make his son team up with Kawaki in “Boruto” Chapter 28.
According to reports, “Boruto” Chapter 28 is scheduled to come out on Oct. 22.
