Fans expecting to see “Boku no Hero Academia” Chapter 218 to come out this week will be disappointed to know that the manga is taking a break. Fortunately, it will be a short one and the chapter will be released at the beginning of March. As for what it will be about, there have been rumblings that the next arc will actually be the beginning of the manga’s end.
As Comic Book reports, the release date for “Boku no Hero Academia” Chapter 218 has pushed back for a week due to the manga taking a break. The previous chapter announced as much, although the texts were admittedly quite small. Still, this will likely disappoint many fans who were looking forward to seeing what is next in the franchise.
While there is no doubt that each chapter of this storied manga property causes a ripple of excitement among readers, there have been predictions that it is also near its end. The creator of the manga did say that he does not intend on emulating “One Piece,” with its extremely long serialization. As such, there are now rumors that “Boku no Hero Academia” Chapter 218 could kick start the final arc.
Until the author himself makes this announcement, it’s worth taking such declarations on the web as questionable, at best. There are still a lot of mysteries surrounding Deku and One-For-All, after all, but it is quite possible for all the answers to be given in one arc. It would simply feel rushed if this does indeed end up happening. Whatever the case may be, “Boku no Hero Academia” Chapter 218 will need to be released first for more clues.
As to when exactly this will be, the official English translation of “Boku no Hero Academia” Chapter 218 is expected to be posted on the licensed sources on March 3. Unofficial translations, on the other hand, will likely come out before that.
