“BoJack Horseman” season 6 will reveal how the central character will change after being confined to a rehabilitation center. It can be recalled that in the previous season’s finale, BoJack was dropped off at the clinic after he almost killed his girlfriend Gina through strangulation.
It was Diane who brought him to the rehab and it is yet to see in “BoJack Horseman” season 6 if he improved or will remain addicted to pills and mess up his life once again. As narrated on Mary Sue, BoJack became addicted to pills that were originally prescribed to him after he broke his back on the set of the “Philbert” web series.
Since he needs to stop taking the pills, BoJack started to hurt himself intentionally so that doctors will continue to give him the medicine. To prove how strong his addiction has become, he even got into a car accident to be prescribed the painkiller pills. Now, although it is not certain if got better, “BoJack Horseman” season 6 is likely to offer a positive outcome after he was discharged from the rehab.
In fact, Metro reported that in “BoJack Horseman” season 6, the half-man half-human lead will recover and start to sober up. This detail came from series creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg so this is surely happening in the upcoming installment.
"We’ve been inching toward a desire for redemption, for a kind of inner peace," Bob-Waksberg told the publication. “That won't be easy given his crimes but the series has always been at its best when dealing with the thorniest areas of the human/anthropomorphized animal experience.”
Meanwhile, aside from the good plot development in “BoJack Horseman” season 6, the viewers will get to see many A-list stars as guests throughout the season. As per Radio Times, some of the guests to see are Daniel Radcliffe, Lisa Kudrow, Stanley Tucci, Paul McCartney, Jessica Biel, Sharon Horgan, Kristen Bell, and Ricky Gervais. It was also reported that “Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul will return as BoJack’s best friend, Todd.
Finally, there is no official announcement for “BoJack Horseman” season 6 premiere but it was predicted to arrive between the months of July and September.
