“Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 7 is titled “By Hook or by Crook” and Lou Diamond Phillips is appearing once again as the drug cartel hitman who burned down Danny Reagan’s (Donnie Wahlberg) home. It will be an action-packed episode as Frank Reagan’s (Tom Selleck) eldest son works harder to bring Luis Delgado to jail.
According to CBS's press release, “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 7’s synopsis reads: “Things get personal for Danny when Luis Delgado (Lou Diamond Phillips), the drug cartel hitman responsible for torching his house, resurfaces. Also, an attack on an officer in the line of duty directly impacts a member of Frank’s team. Eddie reluctantly introduces Jamie to her mother, Lena (Christine Ebersole) while Erin deals with the consequences of her new role as boss.”
“Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 7 will show that Luis Delgado is alive and this proves that he is not the man who was beheaded in the series’s pilot episode. It is possible that Danny already knew about this as he could have had the beheaded man’s DNA tested to make sure he was the right guy.
With Delgado’s return and Danny in pursuit, it is yet to be seen if he will succeed in locking him up this time. Will he be able to know if the drug cartel hitman is really the one responsible for his wife’s death?
“Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 7 will also show Eddie’s mother when she invites her to dinner so she can finally introduce her fiance. What will she think about her future son-in-law? Whether she likes her daughter’s engagement to Jamie or not will be revealed in the upcoming chapter.
“Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 7 will feature many guest stars. Aside from Ebersole and Phillips, Luna Lauren Velez (DEA Agent Veronica Molina), Isabel Santiago (Isabel Delgado), Christine Renee Miller (April Watkins ME), Anthony Chatmon Ii (Officer Davis), Jarid Faubel (Officer Brian Baker), Chad Lindsey (Officer Walsh) and Justin Walker White (ADA Martin Richardson) are also making an appearance.
“Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 7 will air on Nov. 9 at 10 p.m. on CBS. See Spoilers Guide for promotional photos of this installment.
