‘Blue Bloods’ Season 7, Episode 17 Spoilers: “Shadow of a Doubt” – Jamie, Eddie Investigate Case of Foul Play After Receiving Distress Call; New Love Triangle Set-Up?

‘Blue Bloods’ season 7’s episode 17, titled “Shadow of a Doubt,” will follow Jamie and Eddie as they investigate the case of possible foul play after they receive a distress call from a woman suffering from an allergic attack. It was also speculated that a love triangle will lead to strain in Jamie and Eddie’s romantic relationship.

The synopsis for “Shadow of a Doubt” posted on TV Guide reads, “An EMT doesn't respond to his wife's distress call when she has an allergic reaction to medication, so Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie (Vanessa Ray) suspect foul play.

Meanwhile, Erin (Bridget Moynahan) realizes she may have convicted an innocent man; and an exposé on Garrett (Gregory Jbara) leads to a PR crisis for Frank (Tom Selleck).”

In the upcoming episode of CBS’ police procedural and legal drama television series, Jamie and Eddie will investigate a case of suspected foul play when they respond to a call of distress from a woman suffering from an allergic reaction to her medication. They suspect abuse at home when an EMT doesn’t respond to his own wife’s call for help.

On the other hand, Jamie and Eddie may also face relationship troubles when a third party threatens to tear them apart. According to iTech Post, the presence of a new woman in Jamie’s life could spell the end of their relationship. It will be interesting to see how they hurdle through this challenge in their personal lives as they navigate through the difficult cases in their professional lives.

Estes took to social media to tease his new partner on the show. He posted an Instagram image captioned, "Me and my new partner on Blue Bloods! Sarah Mezzanotte."  This post triggered speculation that the new actress will introduced a love triangle element in the series for Jamie and Eddie.

Meanwhile, Erin will realize that a man she convicted in the past may be innocent of a crime. She will have to make major decisions as she moves to correct this mistake or risk destroying someone’s life.

Frank will also face problems of his own when an expose on Garrett that is about to be published leads to a PR crisis. He will have to race against time to solve this problem or run the risk of having this revelation ruin his department.
