‘Blue Bloods’ season 7’s episode 13, titled "The One That Got Away," is set to follow Frank as he ditches jurisdiction to help Danny and Baez solve a child-abuse case. Meanwhile, Eddie and Jamie’s double date is cut short by a robbery.
The synopsis for "The One That Got Away” posted on TV Guide reads, “A child-abuse case gets complicated for Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) because of an individual's diplomatic immunity, so Frank (Tom Selleck) gets involved, even though he doesn't have jurisdiction. Elsewhere, Eddie (Vanessa Ray) and Jamie (Will Estes) deal with a robbery while they're off duty.”
In the upcoming episode, Frank is set put himself at risk when he decided to abandon jurisdiction in order to intervene with a child-abuse case that becomes too difficult for Danny and Baez to handle.
Meanwhile, Eddie and Jamie’s double date with Eddie’s sister and her boyfriend will have to be put on hold as they are forced to step in during a robbery that occurs. It remains unclear if this robbery will quickly turn into a fatal one.
It seems that Eddie and Jamie’s relationship will have to go through more rough patches. In a previous episode, the two had to work together on an adoption case. Interestingly enough, it provided an opportunity for the couple to contemplate their relationship and talk about their feelings. According to Cartermatt, Eddie and Jamie even had to fight off some police gossip regarding their relationship.
‘Blue Bloods’ season 7’s episode 13, titled "The One That Got Away," is scheduled to air on CBS on January 20, 2017. It was directed by Jane Raab and written by Siobhan Byrne O'Connor. It will be followed by episode 14, titled "In & Out," scheduled for February 3.
The police procedural and legal drama series was created by Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess. It follows the Reagan family with the New York City Police Department.
