The bad days are over (for now) as the elves and humans finally reconciled and the Devil that orchestrated their centuries-long rivalry is dead. The happy moments are not over yet as the anime transitions to a new story arc in “Black Clover” episode 121.
'Black Clover’ episode 121 spoilers: How Julius is coming back
The celebrations continue in “Black Clover” episode 121 with the resurrection of a very important character slated to happen. Earlier in the elves reincarnation arc, fans cried that Julius Novachrono had to die. But those tears will be replaced with smiles this Tuesday as viewers finally see the Wizard King reincarnated.
It can be recalled in episode 120 that William asked Yami to bring him to where Julius is buried. The beginning of “Black Clover” episode 121 will likely pick up from here where Yami and William find Julius’ supposed grave empty. They will be greeted with a young man, who apologizes for not helping in the recently concluded battle.
The young boy is actually Julius. In the manga chapter where “Black Clover” episode 121 is based, Julius explained that his magic allowed him to restore his body. However, the effects set in slower than he anticipated so he was only able to restore his form up to his 13-year-old body. Fans should expect nothing less but some comedic responses, especially from Yami and the Magic Knights once Julius comes back to the Clover Kingdom.
It is also going to be an interesting scene in “Black Clover” episode 121 once Julius and William recall the latter’s betrayal that led to the emperor’s death. But William will only burst into tears when the Wizard King, instead of punishing him harshly, invites him to stick around and fight hatred.
'Black Clover’ episode 121 release date
Fans of the anime series know by now that its producers do not really take many breaks no matter how major the upcoming episodes are. Even when it is a transition to a new story arc, it appears that there will be no hiatus before the release of “Black Clover” episode 121. With that, watch Julius’ revival on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
