‘Black Clover’ Season 3 Renewal or Cancellation: Getting Axed Despite Disturbing Level of Enthusiasm?

There have been many decisions made in the anime industry and show business, in general, that doesn’t really make a lot of sense. As of now, there are concerns that “Black Clover” Season 3 might become a victim of such circumstances by not being renewed. While there those who argue that its spot is secured, there isn’t much that should surprise anyone anymore, given how nonsensical some executives can be.

For the most part, it is largely agreed upon by both fans and many analysts that “Black Clover” Season 3 is going to be greenlit. As of now, there is still no concrete information about the upcoming season, Anime News had recently reported. With that in mind, there should not be that big of a reason to feel anxious about the possibility of a cancellation.

After all, based on the numbers and enthusiasm expressed by the fans alone, the probability of “Black Clover” Season 3 happening is quite high. The Japanese market itself, which usually plays the biggest role in influencing anime studio decisions, is congested with the merchandise related to the anime. Despite its issues, it is safe to say that there are a lot of fans supporting the show.

On that note, it is never really guaranteed that a show will be renewed regardless of how popular it is and this applies to “Black Clover” Season 3 as well. There are a lot of reasons for why the season might be dropped. It is even possible that the anime will simply be suspended. However, this is all just speculation.

If “Black Clover” Season 3 is going to become a reality, then fans might not see it until early 2020. Even if the studio starts working on it right now, it will take a long time for them to be finished. This goes double due to the number of episodes that they will need to make.
