After a couple of action-packed episodes as the anime series delved into the Royal Knights arc, “Black Clover” episode 82 appears to be a so-called filler. However, many fans will most likely appreciate it because it will be all about Charmy Pappitson.
Those who have been following this franchise should be familiar with Charmy by now. She is a hybrid of human and dwarf that explains why her typical height is shorter than the average character. However, she can become taller when she activates her Food Magic. Aside from her adorable appearance, she is also a reliable Magic Knight belonging to the Black Bull squad. “Black Clover” episode 82 will be focusing on Charmy and her certain nightmare that, as expected, revolves around food.
“Black Clover” episode 82 is officially titled “Petit Clover! Charmy’s Nightmare Special!” Again, the title reiterates that the next installment is focused on the food-loving Magic Knight. The use of the word “special,” on the other hand, suggests that the anime series will take a short break from the Royal Knights arc. But as Charmy promised in the video teaser, “We’re going to make sure you stuff yourself full of extra yummy goodness!”
Even though Charmy is telling fans they will have a good time watching “Black Clover” episode 82, the character does not seem to be feeling that way in the mini preview. However, this is not surprising since the title already hints at the installment being about Charmy’s nightmare.
The “Black Clover” episode 82 sneak peek also hints at Charmy being surrounded with an array of mushrooms. It can be recalled that Charmy once had a funny encounter with parasitic mushrooms. After scouring the jungle to find a cure for Asta’s then-broken arms, Charmy ended up empty-handed but was covered with the said mushrooms. Her solution was to eat it all, though, her efforts were futile because eating one mushroom only causes it to sprout with three more fungi and seeing that only irritated Asta.
Another good news is that “Black Clover” episode 82 will air on May 7 that means the series is unlikely having a hiatus. Other anime and manga series have already announced to go on short or longer breaks presumably because of Japan’s Golden Week holiday.
