“Black Clover” Episode 74 will be kick-starting the Royal Knight selection exam. Right now, Asta and his team are scheduled to fight first. It goes without saying that the trio is standing on rocky ground at best since they aren’t exactly in sync with each other’s goals.
On one side, Mimosa’s attraction towards Asta may prove a distraction to their desire in winning the exam. On the other, Zora – who’s been posing as Xerx – is expected to not cooperate with the team altogether. However, “Black Clover” Episode 74 will have Asta’s team win their first match easily enough, thanks to the traps that Zora laid the night before.
This is despite the fact that Zora will be napping at some point during the mock battle. What’s more, the traps that he had laid will not only affect the opposing team but will also paralyze Asta as well. With the junior knight electing to sit the battle out and the titular orphan unable to move, Team A is going to take this opportunity to destroy Team B’s crystal. Unfortunately for them, the trap that Zora has laid out will reflect the spells that they’ve cast, resulting in a devastating counterattack. Zora will then start verbally abusing the opposing squad in “Black Clover” Episode 74.
After much gloating, the fiery-haired character will destroy Team A’s crystal, concluding the battle. Zora’s trash-talking will not sit well with Asta and he’ll make sure to let his displeasure known. Meanwhile, “Black Clover” Episode 74 will have Mimosa contemplating the nature of Zora’s magic and the conditions that have to be met for the spells to activate.
She’ll also ask Zora how he managed to lay all those traps since she didn’t see him make any effort the entire time. Of course, the rogue will not be revealing his secrets to the noblewoman, which prompt her to be suspicious of the character even more. Regarding the release date of “Black Clover” Episode 74, it’s been slated to air on March 12.
