The previous episode of the anime left fans with a lot of questions as to what the fate of the Black Bulls will be, now that Asta is being controlled by the Witch Queen. Who could have predicted that she was after the protagonist’s anti-magic sword this whole time? Now, that same blade will be directed at his friends and comrades while he is in his half demon form. Will “Black Clover” Episode 64 see the deaths of the characters?
As the “Black Clover” Episode 64 preview clip below shows, the upcoming episode is going to feature some backstory for the character of Vanessa. As the daughter of the Witch Queen, she would, of course, possess powers that may not have been known up to this point. Titled “The Red Thread of Fate,” this could be a reference to the power that she is going to display.
With regards to the likely impact of this power, it might just be the best chance that Asta has of avoiding being forced to commit a massacre. When viewers last left him, he was basically just a puppet that is set on following the whims of his new master. However, if someone else could pull his strings who is not hostile towards his friends, “Black Clover” Episode 64 might not end with murder.
This is where Vanessa can come in. With her new thread powers, she might just be the best hope for the group to stop the Witch Queen. This is not going to be easy, however, since she was apparently imprisoned by her own mother. That doesn’t exactly show a lot of love between the two, as fans will see in “Black Clover” Episode 64.
As for when “Black Clover” Episode 64 will air, that would be on Dec. 25. Just in time for Christmas for fans of the show.
