Things are really heating up for the manga property, with “Black Clover” Chapter 172 set to be another explosive issue. The recently released chapter did not feature as many great fight scenes as fans might have liked, but the most disappointing aspect of it is the absence of the Charlotte VS Yami fight. One can only hope that the next issue will be showcasing how this battle is progressing.
For those who have not been following the story, so far, it would seem that characters are being taken over by Elves. This results in them losing control and is why Yami is now fighting Charlotte. This is likely to remain the case in “Black Clover” Chapter 172. In the previous chapter, it did showcase a fight between Leo and the vice-captain of the Crimson Lion, The Anime Scrolls reports.
That fight ended with Leo’s loss and necessitated the entry of the Crimson Lion’s captain, Fuegoleon. He arrived with Salamander in the last page of the chapter vowing that he wouldn’t lose again. Such a claim comes into question, however, considering that he already lost the first time around. “Black Clover” Chapter 172 will reveal of this is all empty bluster.
As to what Asta and the rest of the Black Bulls are up to while everywhere else is burning, at least some of them have already made it to the Capital, Otaku Art notes. So far, however, there have been some characters that are missing in action. Nozelle has yet to make an appearance and the same goes for Yuno. Perhaps they will appear in “Black Clover” Chapter 172.
More things are likely to be revealed once the next chapter of the series is released. Fans can expect to read “Black Clover” Chapter 172 on Sept. 10, which will hopefully shed some light on the remaining mysteries of this arc.
