There is an absurd level of self-delusion that has got to be involved in writing many of the stories featuring the Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner pair and there is a new one getting around. It claims that the former married couple will be striking out the “former” in that description by tying the knot once again. Naturally, this is nothing but a load of nonsense concocted by a publication with nothing real to report.
As Gossip Cop recently pointed out, the Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner story that was put out by Star claiming another attempt at marriage for the two is complete garbage. It claimed that the former celebrity couple had met during a wedding and sparks simply flew between them. The publication even cited a supposed source with a curious level of insight into the separated celebrities’ lives.
“They were having such a wonderful day, laughing and joking together,” the supposed source reportedly said. “It seemed like old times. It spurred Ben to make a second proposal, ‘Marry me again!’. She thought he was kidding at first, but he assured her he wasn’t.”
Some could say that this is a new level of low, even for ridiculous publications like Star, but that would not entirely be the case. Such claims are nothing new, especially when involving celebrity figures like the former Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner sweethearts. As was the case with every other story about them, though, they were more often wrong than they were right.
This time is no different, especially in light of the fact that a Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner recoupling is made impossible with the presence of Lindsay Shookus. She and the “Batman V Superman” actor have been spotted several times recently being together. This makes this particular story poorly timed since there is no further need to prove that it is a dumpster fire.
