Barbara Streisand is reportedly obsessing over American rapper Eminem. It was claimed that the “Woman in Love” singer and filmmaker would love to meet and work with him one day.
Barbara’s alleged infatuation with Eminem
In an article published by Globe titled “Streisand Swoons Over Eminem!” a source alleged that Streisand finds Eminem really attractive and interesting. It was added that the 77-year-old singer seemed to have totally fallen for the 47-year-old rapper.
“She thinks he’s interesting and fascinating in an intense way, and also happens to think he’s devilishly handsome,” the so-called insider stated. “She listens to his music and raps to his lyrics at home when she thinks no one is looking.”
The source went on to say that Barbara Streisand feels that Eminem is charming and has the quality that she is looking for in a celebrity. Thus, she also wishes to do a film with him where she will be his director.
“She thinks he’s extremely talented and has just the kind of screen presence she looks for in a star,” the insider shared. “Barbara would love to direct him in a film and she let Eminem know she’ll meet him any day, any time.”
Barbara’s camp’s response to the report
Gossip Cop reached out to Barbara Streisand’s side to know the truth. The publication got some answers after her reps told them that the report is a “total BS.” it turned out that the rumor started after Globe twisted some facts due to a brief interaction after the recent Oscars where Eminem presented an unexpected stage of “Lose Yourself.”
It was said that after his performance, Streisand reposted a clip when she presented an Oscar award to Eminem in 2003, but he was not there to receive the trophy. In her caption, the singer/actress called out the rapper and wrote, “I had voted for your song too! Was really looking forward to handing you the award - next time!”
Apparently, the tabloid based its report on this incident to concoct a crazy story. One thing is sure, Barbara Streisand is not obsessing over Eminem, which means the Globe report is made up.
