BTS is very busy despite the situation these days. The South Korean boy group did not stop releasing songs even if there is a lockdown, and they can’t travel to perform and promote.
In fact, they just released their fourth Japanese album this month and it was a huge hit. This is an amazing feat because the world is still dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and yet, BTS’ songs continue to sweep the charts.
The new song and album announcement
The group has been trending every time they release something, even if it is a solo song and it seems that their activities for this month are over. BTS is now moving on to their next project and they revealed what they are up to during their audio live streaming via V LIVE the past weekend.
The members that include Jungkook, V, Jimin, Jin, RM, J-Hope and Suga shared they will be launching a new English song and fans can expect this next month. The digital single will be released in both Korean and international music streaming sites.
"We have prepared a new single for ARMY, set for Aug. 21,” Billboard quoted the BTS members as saying during their V LIVE. “We are preparing an album for the second half of this year, but decided to first release a single because we wanted to reach our fans as soon as possible."
BTS said that they wanted to release this song to “share some positive energy” with their fans in this time when the COVID-19 pandemic is making life harder for people around the world.
BTS teases fans about their new tracks
Although the band already said when they will drop the English song, its title was never mentioned. The BTS members disclosed that it is an upbeat song that is similar to their “Waste It on Me” and “MIC Drop” tracks.
The band further said that at this point, they have finished recording the guide version. After hearing the guide, they think it is something really fresh for their fans to enjoy.
Meanwhile, BTS is also releasing another album and they are now preparing for it as well. They are expected to unveil it before this year ends.
