Things are starting to heat up in “Attack on Titan” season 4 as the official preview for episode 4 confirms Reiner is meeting again with an old friend from Paradis. Meanwhile, the anime fans are close to finally seeing the Warhammer Titan.
‘Attack on Titan’ season 4 episode 4: Reiner and Eren meet again in Liberio
Some mysterious characters have been showing up in Marley in recent episodes, including Falco’s new friend named Kruger. If anime fans have not connected the dots yet, this man is actually Eren, who infiltrated Marley and pretended to be an injured Eldian soldier. And anime fans should expect that he has a grand plan about to unfold in the upcoming episodes of “Attack on Titan” season 4.
The official preview for “Attack on Titan” season 4 episode 4 concludes with a shocked Reiner. That confirms that the moment he learns of Eren’s presence in Marley is happening in the next installment. Falco, who has no idea he has befriended a vengeful Eren, will play an important role in this tensed reunion.

Their meeting will happen shortly after William Tybur’s big speech in “Attack on Titan” season 4, episode 4, as the main event of a festival in Liberio. Before they settle in the designated seats for the Warriors of Marley, Falco asks Reiner to come with him to a certain location. Falco will then lead Reiner to a basement in Liberio, where his friend Kruger is waiting. Reiner will immediately recognize Eren as soon as Falco introduces him as Kruger.
‘Attack on Titan’ season 4 episode 4 release date, where to watch
“Attack on Titan” season 4 episode 4 will be the show’s last episode of 2020 and will be released on Monday, Dec. 28. There will be a break for one week after that, but anime fans can be certain that the wait will be worth it.
Eren and Reiner’s meeting, as well as William Tybur’s big show in Liberio, will lead to an action-packed declaration of war that will mark the return of fan-favorite characters from Paradis. That will pave the way for the official anime debut of the War Hammer Titan. New episodes of “Attack on Titan” season 4 are released on various streaming platforms for fans outside Japan, including Crunchyroll, Funimation, AnimeLab, and Netflix.
