“Attack On Titan” Chapter 116 will be a heart-racing story as the hunt for Hanji and Levi has officially begun. The previous chapter saw that the captain suffered severe injuries following the explosion of Thunder Spears that caught him and Zeke.
At first, Hanji and several Yeagerists thought Levi was dead. Indeed, even Isayama himself didn’t exactly confirm this fact. But it was heavily implied that the captain was alive and it was obvious that Hanji was lying to Floch about Levi’s passing. There’s also the fact that Hanji dove into the river with Levi’s body. It wouldn’t make much sense if Hanji risked her life just to save a corpse. So it’s not a question if Levi is alive but how he’s going to recover from his wounds. Fortunately, fans of the series won’t have to wait long as “Attack On Titan” Chapter 116 is only a week away.
Continuing on Levi’s predicament, it’s still unclear how Isayama will set up the events that would heal the captain. As the explosion took out one of Levi’s eyes and possibly several fingers, there will have to be some sort of hyper-regeneration in play to heal those injuries. Of course, going this route would hurt Levi as a character since giving him enhanced regeneration in “Attack On Titan” Chapter 116 would make him overpowered.
And he’s already powerful enough as it is. Whatever the case, it’s unlikely that Isayama will kill off Levi or leave him with some sort of debilitating injuries that would significantly reduce his effectiveness in battle. After all, the captain still needs to settle the score between him and Zeke. And speaking of Zeke, some fans are irked that the character has been doing a lot of dying in the series but never actually died. Of course, it can be argued that his revival this time shed new light on the mysteries of Paths – minuscule though the information was. Regarding the release date of “Attack On Titan” Chapter 116, it has been scheduled to drop on April 9, Comicbook reported.
