“Attack on Titans” Chapter 114 is going to be a tension-filled story to follow as the conflict between the Yaeger faction and Levi’s group has heated to a boiling point. The last chapter highlighted once again why Levi is the most badass character in the series.
Even when faced with numerous Titans, the captain still managed to decimate all of them with ease. And that’s not even counting the fact that the Titans he killed were his comrades. If that’s not enough, he also faced Zeke when he turned into the Beast Titan and handled him without receiving a single scratch. “Attack on Titans” Chapter 114 will probably have Eren and Levi analyzing their position and using each of their leverage to get a hold on things.
Eren wants to retrieve Zeke, while Levi wants his comrades protected. Not only that, but the captain also wants to put meaning on the death of those who died to protect Eren believing the titular protagonist would be humanity’s salvation. While all of these are taking place, the bigger war that is shaping up is now advancing towards the doorstep of Eldia. So what will happen in “Attack on Titans” Chapter 114?
This is difficult to predict given that Hajime Isayama is keeping everything shrouded in mystery. Indeed, even hardcore fans are at a loss where the story is going with many of them hating the Yaeger brothers. Which brings into question: are Eren and Zeke the main villain of the story? At the moment, it would appear to be. But looking at the bigger picture, their actions seem to be influenced by a decision that would yield the most advantageous for humanity’s future, brutal it may be. Hopefully, “Attack on Titans” Chapter 114 will provide more answer to the mysterious plans that Eren and Zeke want to put forward.
Are they really going to sacrifice those within Eldia to achieve what they want? It’s already been established that a single scream would turn those who drank Zeke’s spinal fluid into lumbering mindless soldiers. Could the Yaeger brothers justify such atrocities? If it means that the rest of Eldia survives, then the answer is yes. It’s difficult to believe that Isayama is turning Eren into a villain for the sake of shock value, especially with how hard he worked to develop the character throughout the years. The manga creator certainly needs to answer a lot of questions in “Attack on Titans” Chapter 114 when it returns in the second week of March.
