If any proof that a terrible childhood can lead to some truly horrendous adult life is needed, Zeke’s case in “Attack On Titan” is quite the palpable example. The responsibility that both his father and his teacher bestowed upon him should have been too great for a young child. “Attack On Titan” Chapter 115 could see more consequences of Grisha’s failure as a father.
As DiscoveryDiary points out, Zeke’s childhood experiences have shaped the man he is now; someone who dreams of the genocide of the Eldian people. This was made clear enough in the previous chapter after discovering the horrors that adults are capable of inflicting to others and themselves. “Attack On Titan” Chapter 115 could continue showcasing this angle of Zeke’s life.
The events of the last chapter also brought up the question of how the character would have brought up this discussion to Eren. More importantly, there is the question of whether or not the supposed protagonist of this story was so moved by the revelation that he has since adopted the same viewpoint. Most are of the opinion that this is not the case, as will likely be revealed in “Attack On Titan” Chapter 115.
Eren could simply be pretending to sympathize with his much older brother in order to gain his assistance in accomplishing his own goals. While Zeke might want to use The Rumbling in order to wipe out the Eldian people, Eren could be thinking of bringing the Titans to order. The goal could include world domination, as might be shown in “Attack On Titan” Chapter 115.
If this idea seems farfetched, it’s worth noting just how much Eren has changed ever since coming back from Marley. He is no longer the boy that readers stuck with. “Attack On Titan” Chapter 115 could show how far he is really willing to go when it comes out on March 9.
