Adidas and Peloton revealed their collaboration to create an exclusive new line of athletic apparel. The companies made the announcement on Thursday, March 18.
The fitness and sports gear partnership deal
As per CNBC, Adidas and Peloton are launching an extensive apparel line, and this could be the latter’s biggest sportswear business yet. It was said that the creation of the line’s new items is for fans who love trendy athletic clothing and want to get more from the fitness company.
The companies will be releasing an array of t-shirts, shorts, jogger pants, hoodies, crewnecks, sports bras, tank tops, and more. The items will be unisex and available in different sizes up to 2X.
The merchandise will retail between $30 and $85, and these can be purchased through Adidas and Peloton’s respective official online stores. The consumers can also get the new items from the companies’ brick and mortar retail stores.
The collection and release date
The newly-formed 11-piece apparel line has been dubbed as the Adidas x Peloton SS21 collection. The designs in the collection were put together with help from some of Peloton’s best cycling instructors that include Ally Love, Cody Rigsby, and Robin Arzon, who are becoming really popular today.
"I’m extremely proud to announce our partnership with Peloton, the leading interactive fitness platform,” Adidas’ general manager Aimee Arana said in a press release. “During a time where we are not able to be physically together, we have an incredible opportunity to help grow connected communities and continue to support people as they build their new fitness journeys at home.”
She added that the company is looking forward to bringing Adidas and Peloton brands together and offer the best to the consumers. Fans of the companies can start buying apparel and gears in the Adidas x Peloton SS21 collection starting March 25.
Finally, Adidas and Peloton stated their intentions to work together on more projects and stressed that this is just the beginning of their collaboration. Adidas is the latest sportswear company to team up with Peloton that already partnered with other big players in the market, such as Nike, Lululemon, and Beyond Yoga.
