ONTARIO, CA, Aug. 14, 2017 -- ANTOP has completely redesigned the traditional Yagi “fishbone-style” unsightly outdoor antenna with a digital option that is discreet yet powerful enough to provide multiple TVs within a home with free Over-The-Air local broadcast signals. The “Big Boy” Flat Panel HDTV Outdoor antennas from ANTOP can receive local digital broadcasted signals from up to 80 miles and provide consumers with a “whole-house” solution when it comes to cutting the cord from high-priced pay TV.
ANTOP “Big Boy” Flat Panel HDTV Outdoor Antenna Line
The newly expanded line of “Big Boy” outdoor digital antennas from ANTOP include 10 different models all which incorporate the latest technology to deliver crystal clear HDTV reception. The hard ABS, anti-UV and waterproof exterior casing protects the antenna’s internal elements from any weather conditions, while the sleek, flat panel design, just a little larger in size than a bread box, provides visual appeal making it perfect for outdoor installation.
Tucked inside the exterior casing, the traditional Yagi elements -- metal antenna dipole, directors, reflectors, low noise and anti-interference amplifiers -- are re-engineered to achieve a similar gain level and receive uncompressed high definition digital signals.
The AT-400BV and AT-401BV are the latest models to join the “Big Boy” line up. Both include VHF Enhancer Rods to strengthen VHF reception ensuring fewer blind spots from those signals.
Reception range from the broadcast origination point varies by model, from 60 continuing up to 80 miles. The multi-direction coverage pattern and high gain digital qualities and shielding ensure less blind spots and maximum reception. Each model comes equipped with a built in 4G LTE Filter to block 3G and 4G signals from cell phones, transmitters, and wireless networks. All support HDTV, 1080P TV, and 4K ULTRA HD and are compatible with converter boxes.
Amplified models include the Smartpass, an ANTOP exclusive amplifier technology that uses an all-in-one design to allow an easier connection to deliver the correct balance between short, medium and long-range signal strength.
Cut the cord from high-priced pay TV
ANTOP’s Flat Panel “Big Boy” HDTV outdoor antennas are an entire-house cord cutting solution powerful enough to supply an uncompressed quality digital signal to multiple high definition TVs within the home. The “Big Boy” antennas can receive free over-the-air local broadcast high definition over-the-air TV signals from networks such as ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, Fox, Univision, and others. The contemporary sleek design is perfectly suited for exterior mounting on any residential home and can also be used indoors, as a stand is included for table and floor positioning. Coaxial cable and a mounting kit also included.
Retail pricing on the “Big Boy” series is typically less than an average month’s cable or satellite subscription cost.
“We feel that our “Big Boy” outdoor series will be a welcome change for today’s TV viewers as they now have a better-looking and easier to install alternative to the old unsightly traditional mechanical Yagi style antenna,” said Eric Jiang, ANTOP President. “This product line has the capability to revolutionize the market by introducing an innovative new approach to delivering a high-gain signal performance like that of the old eight-to-24 element Yagi.”
