Chusu He joined Coventry University London in August 2019 as Lecturer of Finance. She was previously a research associate at the School of Business and Economics, Loughborough University.
She holds a PhD degree in Financial Economics (2014 - 2018) and a MSc degree in Banking and Financial Markets with distinction (2013 - 2014), both from Loughborough University. She also passed the three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams between 2015 - 2017. Since successfully defending her PhD thesis, entitled “Public procurement: award mechanisms and implementation process”, with no corrections, she has been developing new research, from infrastructure and project finance, into financial technology, payments and settlement, supply chain finance and disaster risk finance.
Chusu has been served as a peer reviewer for International Journal of the Economics of Business. She supported the delivery of the workshop “Distributed ledger and cryptocurrency technologies: and their application in payments” in November 2019 for the SWIFT Institute.
