LAGUNA HILLS, Calif., April 03, 2018 -- WiSilica, a leading location aware Internet of Things (IoT) platform and solution provider, today announced the appointment of Scott Poteracki as Chief Financial (CFO) and Operating Officer (COO). In his new role with the company, Poteracki will spearhead the growth of WiSilica’s suite of IoT offerings, by driving greater efficiency, financial governance and risk management across the organization. In addition to the finance and investor relations, he will be leading the operational excellence and strategy initiatives.
WiSilica enables customers to create secure, smart environments using wireless mesh technologies, machine learning and geolocation.
Poteracki joins WiSilica from Cubex LLC, a medical information technology provider, where he served as the company’s COO and CFO. A seasoned C-level executive with comprehensive experience in finance and supply chain, Scott was responsible for Cubex’s operations organizations and financials. A graduate of the University of Illinois in accounting, Poteracki received his CPA and went on to complete an MBA at Arizona State University. His long career at Motorola during their growth years and included positions in the communications, computing and semiconductor sectors. Scott has also held CFO positions at Cray Inc., MTI and Nexiant before his career at Broadcom and Motorola.
