Whale Watch 2026: Crypto Giants Accumulate as HYPE, DOGE, and WLD See Massive Inflows

At present, the cryptocurrency market is experiencing a huge surge of "whale" accumulation, where wealthy investors are actively constructing portfolios across several well-known currencies. Hyperliquid (HYPE) stands out because a single mystery entity has been buying tokens every day for two consecutive months, accumulating an amazing USD 19.18 million position at an average price of USD 38. Dogecoin (DOGE) has also reached a historic milestone, with 149 whale wallets now controlling an unprecedented 108.52 billion tokens, valued at over USD 11.6 billion. On April 28, whale activity reached a six-month high, with 739 transactions greater than USD 100,000 recorded in a single day, underlining this spike in Dogecoin interest.

Some assets are growing at high prices, whereas others are being bought up rapidly during big downturns in the market. Recently reaching an all-time low of USD 0.23, Worldcoin (WLD) didn't send investors running; instead, large holders ranging from 1 million to 10 million WLD saw the collapse as a perfect entry opportunity. In little over a week, this particular group of whales gathered 12 million tokens, increasing their total to almost 971 million WLD. This "buy the dip" approach implies that big investors still have faith in the long-term utility or rebound of the initiative notwithstanding its present price volatility.

XRP is trying to be a leader in the institutional and technological fields for the next market movement. Weekly net inflows into XRP spot ETFs have reached USD 26 million, and the number of whale wallets for the asset has soared to an all-time high. Analysts have said that XRP is currently pushing against important horizontal resistance levels even if it has trailed behind other altcoins in recent weeks. Many market watchers are calling XRP a "next mover" in the current digital asset rotation because of the mix of large institutional inflows and regular technical testing of resistance.
