SAN RAFAEL, Calif., April 27, 2017 -- The Board of Directors of Westamerica Bancorporation (NASDAQ:WABC) today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.39 per share on common stock outstanding to shareholders of record at the close of business May 8, 2017. The dividend is payable May 19, 2017.
Chairman, President and CEO David Payne stated, “This dividend recognizes Westamerica’s healthy capital level, conservative risk profile, and consistent earnings level.”
On April 20, 2017, Westamerica reported $15.0 million in net income for the three months ended March 31, 2017, or $0.57 diluted earnings per common share.
