Sheeds, from Bandera, Texas, has driven more than three million accident-free miles since joining Werner in 1990. The U.S. Marine Corps veteran has trained more than 300 student drivers and was named a Citizen Driver Award winner by TravelCenters of America in 2015. Sheeds is a member of the Truck Buddy International Program and is a voice advocating for Truckers Against Trafficking.
