MINNETONKA, Minn., Feb. 27, 2018 -- Vital Images, Inc., will feature the latest developments within its powerful Vitrea Enterprise Imaging solution at HIMSS 2018, in booth 843, March 5-9, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Innovations include the latest release of the Vitrea Connection enterprise informatics solution with a robust dataflow engine, the launch of a predictive analytics solution and enhancements to the company’s image sharing solution.
“Solving enterprise imaging challenges is what drives us,” says President and CEO Jim Litterer. “Our most recent advancements, along with research in automated insights and virtual reality, demonstrate our commitment to our customers by helping them solve the toughest problems they face every day and will face in the future. This has been part of Vital’s DNA throughout our company’s history.”
At HIMSS, Vital will feature the release of Vitrea Connection, version 7.0, an informatics platform that takes its enterprise imaging solution to the next level of workflow flexibility with a graphical dataflow designer. The company will also debut its predictive analytics solution, Vitrea Intelligence Opportunity NavigatorTM. It presents users with a menu of available financial “opportunities” and continuously directs users toward specific actions to help increase revenues or avoid costs. With its powerful recommendation engine, users always have actionable information at their fingertips to achieve financial objectives and organizational goals.
“Healthcare leaders continue to embrace standard evidence-based practice management tools that provide access to real-time and retrospective data to monitor and manage imaging operations more efficiently,” says Litterer. “Opportunity Navigator takes our existing business intelligence tools to the next level by applying predictive and prescriptive algorithms that take the guesswork out of data interpretation and the actions that you should take based on the evidence.”
Vital will also feature the latest in its Vitrea Image Sharing solution at the show. It automates the labor-intensive and error-prone manual processes of getting outside images, stored on physical media or within another PACS, VNA or image sharing system, into your primary clinical systems and workflows.
