US under Trump Series: Swamp is deeper than Trump thought

US President Donald Trump is now getting the reality; when he said during his campaign that he wants to drain the Swamp in Washington and give the power back to the people; he couldn’t have known how deep the swamp runs in Washington. Faced with leaks and controversies, he is now realizing that the Swamp, which got created over decades, will not be easy to flush out.

The White House had to drop the National Security Advisor Michael Flynn over his illegitimate conduct involving Russian ambassador and talking of sanctions but none has been caught yet over the leaks, which brought down Mr. Flynn. Releasing of confidential documents to Press before the White House sees it is equally illegitimate, if not more.

In the last press conference, Mr. Trump assured that everything is running smoothly but will all the alligators present from the previous administration are reportedly hindering the work of the government almost at every step. Several of Mr. trump’s nominations are waiting in the line for confirmation from the senate, especially in the intelligence field and unless the whole team gets to Washington and starts getting along, it would be difficult for the Trump administration to work smoothly.
