US under Trump Series: Another indicator to measure Trump’s success

Due to all the crazies, controversies, and theatrical surrounding the current US administration under President Donald Trump, the success of this presidency will be measured by many and by numerous measures. We, at FxWirePro, will also be looking at several measures including the one discussed below. We believe the below-mentioned indicator will be one of the key components to measure the success of President Donald Trump.

That is manufacturing payroll or payroll in goods-producing sector component of the ADP employment report. After Trump’s election, this component had a major comeback not witnessed in many years. In January, goods-producing sector registered a major payroll comeback as employment in the sector increased by 46,000 after shedding jobs for months. This is the best reading since January 2015.

Since President Trump has directly indicated that he will be good to those in the rust belt of America, just like they have been good to him by bringing back manufacturing jobs in the United States, we believe this indicator would be vital to judge the success of this presidency. It will also be important to assess whether he would get re-elected after four years.
