U.S. housing starts likely increased by 1.2%m/m in October

The number of single-family homes as well as of multifamily units in US is likely to post a solid growth rate for the month of October.

Single-family homes started is likely to increase by 15K units and  to 755K, which will be the best performance since July, 2015, likewise, multifamily units started  is expected to reach 465K, estimates Societe Generale.      

Further it claims that the number of new housing units started in the United States is expected to increase by 1.2% to an eight-year high seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.22 million units in October.
